Bachelor Fantasy League, Season 18, Juan Pablo!

Buenos dias y bienvenidos a la tercera temporada de la Bachelor Fantasy League! ¿Estás emocionado por Juan-uary?

This season, we join our host and old friend, Chris B. Harrison, 25 lucky ladies, and our saucy, sexy, muy caliente, bachelor extraordinaire Juan Pablo Galavais.  You may remember Juan Pablo as last season’s Venezuelan heart throb and/or Des's sloppy eighths (or ninths?).

WHO-AN pablo, you guys....

No doubt ABC will be playing up the muy caliente latino amor angle, plus he's a single dad, and a former soccer star/model.  Spoiler Alert: JP was born in Ithaca.

He's got his nantucket reds!

Futbol Supserstar

Anyway, I hope you'll join me and the rest of the nation on la viaje para encontrar el amor.  I mean, props to ABC for choosing the whitest non-white person as their first 'ethnic' bachelor star ever.

Whether or not you've played before please see the tabs at the tops for officials rules and regulations of the play.  The final updates will be made over the coming weeks.  This season, there will be a big change up - as in traditional fantasy sports leagues this season we will be allowing TEAM NAMES!!  Please be aware, however, that not everyone in this league is a degenerate, mid to late 20something, borderline alcoholic so try to keep it somewhat clean.

As usual, you get the first week to watch and pick a team of 5 girls.  The teams must be submitted prior to the airing of the second episode.  No excuses.  Note this league is not a head to head type league - it's season long points accumulation. I PROMISE not to skip recaps or not post the final winner like I did with the bachelorette... but let's be real summer is busy, and Dez was borrrrring.

If you didn't catch in the Juan-uary pic above, here are the important dates and deadlines:

SEASON PREMIER: January 6th at 8pm EST (there is a 'Countdown to Juan Pablo' on Sunday at 8pm if you're interested)
TEAMS ARE DUE: January 13th by 7:59PM EST

As always this league is free, and this league is fun. I hope I don't offend you, and you don't offend each other, however, friendly fire, benevolent banter, and ridiculous repartee is encouraged in the blog commentary.

Till the next rose ceremony,
Commish.

PS. I took French in high school, so you, Whoo-an Pabs, and CBH are going to have to deal with my ghetto google translate Spanglish!
